      ABOUT THE WORK    

Memories rarely return to us as complete, unchanging pictures. They overlap, fade, and acquire new meanings as time passes. In Afterimage, layers of figures, colors, and fragmented forms suggest multiple moments existing within a single composition. Some shapes remain recognizable while others dissolve into their surroundings. I explore the possibility that an image can preserve an experience without fixing its meaning, just as remembering something can change the way we understand it.
