      ABOUT THE WORK    

The human body communicates even when it is completely still. Through this observational drawing, I study how a subtle shift in weight or the angle of a limb can suggest movement, tension, or rest. Charcoal helps me explore the relationship between light and volume, while the surrounding negative space becomes as important as the figure itself. The work reflects my interest in finding expression through careful observation rather than dramatic gestures.
